Nice to use :) as a keepsake

Our experience with them was fun. No mess or fuss BUT our little one likes to clench his palm or won't keep his arm/leg still so there are a few cards that look like misshapen arms and legs. Ha! Still great memories of making them (and we finally got some good ones) and they were easy to pack in a hospital bag!

not the best for large dogs

I bought to get my (male) doberman's paw print, unfortunately his paw was too big for the ink pad even after trying his paw the other way , I couldn't get my whole paw on the ink pad. The parts of his paw that landed on the pad looked great! I tried it on my son's mix of boxers and briefs and his paw fit perfectly, nice crisp print. Recommended for medium and small dogs.

Needs different packaging

I ordered these for my son's children's book and was anxious for them to arrive. If this product wasn't damaged and half the ink was gone, it would be a good product. Out of 4 only 1 arrived undamaged and even had a tiny stain but was still usable. I only got 1 good print out of all. They're meant to be reusable, but there's no way they'll look good for a second print after one use. They also don't dry completely.

It took a few tries but it worked :)

I bought this kit to print my kitten's paw print to hopefully get a tattoo. After a few tries and a few smudged prints I got some good ones to scan and picked the one I wanted to use :). It will take a few tries, a few cards and maybe some ink pads, but I'm really glad there were a few pads in this set so I could keep trying if I wasn't happy with something. Didn't cause a huge mess and was overall worth it in my opinion.

The instructions were wrong

Was great except the instructions say which side to use so no ink anywhere, it says something like stop wrong side turn over and when i tried it on my baby his Capturing toes didn't seem to work at all but little did I know that when I tried to use the other side I was told it was very close to what it said turn the Wrong side up, ink was on, so ink was all over his belly, all over me. Needless to say we had a very large bathroom

Poor quality and difficult to use

One of the four ink pads was damaged. Also, it is very difficult to do with a child. You have to press pretty hard to make an impression, and the child just wants to move their arm or leg once you do that. I figured 4 ink pads would be enough to get at least a good hand and footprint print. You can only use each ink pad once, otherwise there won't be enough ink to print, and if one pad is damaged, it's definitely not enough. I didn't get the prints I wanted. Basically it was a waste.
