I've had several occasions where these lightbulbs should.

I have had several instances where these bulbs should have lasted at least a month or more but they burned out within a few weeks of use. Regardless, for the price and what the lamp produces for my tortoise I will continue to use it and cause my ceiling lamp to not work properly since I replaced it and I had no problems with my last set. more lightbulbs.

Great packaging for a perfect product!

First of all I would like to say how beautiful the packaging was. My lightbulbs were so fixed in the packaging. And not with those tiny bubbles that we all like to burst. Like a real homemade dubble packet. I couldn't even shake the lightbulbs. They were completely intact. I immediately put them on my tank. It heats the pool to the right temperature and my chameleon is happy about the gradient. In addition, this price is unbeatable compared to the retail prices!

I'm updating my review here - there is no way to contact the seller which is terrible. I bought a set of lights after my tortoise lamp burned out. After replacing the lightbulb, everything worked fine for a week. After that, the lightbulb burned out — literally a week later. I've never had such a short life and it's terrible. I used to be an avid supporter of Zoo Med but after this experience I will never buy again.

Dangerous exploding lightbulbs.

I've been using one of these lights on my turtle for less than two weeks and it broke the glass throughout the cage. Luckily, I heard a bang from another room and was able to stop my turtle from trying to eat the broken glass (which she was about to do). I don't even want to use the other one that was in the box for fear it might happen again while I'm away. So I figured I would send this dangerous/defective item back to the seller only to find out that this item is non-refundable. If you take…

These don't last long. The quality has gone down.

I am disappointed with the lifespan of these bulbs. It seemed that we were going through them faster than in the past. On the last box I wrote the dates of their installation in order to understand how many hours we spend on a light bulb. The packaging says they last up to 2000 hours. Ours work 11 hours a day on an automatic timer. The first lamp worked only 960 hours. The second was 1080. On average they last half as long as the box claims. Some lightbulbs burned out within days or weeks. In…

I have been buying this brand for quite some time and being incredibly inexperienced in tortoise care I have found that this is exactly the case with these bulbs. Although I didn't have as short a life as others here. BUT I had to buy two packs and put in a lightbulb 3 times in a row. If it fails I replace it with a second bulb and it doesn't work. The third time this happened I was sure it was my cooker hood until I tested it with other brand lights and it worked perfectly. How the quality of…

Reptile keepers: use halogen lamps!

This product is terrible. As the owner of many chameleons, I have sporadically tried using them over the years and each time they just didn't fit. I'm still hoping that Zoomed will improve the durability of these things over time, to no avail. The last one I bought lasted 2 weeks. and the second in the box, just 24 hours. Not to mention I'm using the zoomed dome light. Reptile Owners: Stop wasting money on this product, I've had success with the "Philips 421438 PAR30S Dimmable EcoVantage Flood…

Good solution for heating 10-35 gallon aquariums

I see many flaws with this product but since I started breeding reptiles 11 years ago I have only had positive impressions. These lamps have always been the most stable for me in terms of thermoregulation and lifespan. Each bulb is typically used 6 months to 1 year before its expiration date and typically runs 12 to 14 hours a day depending on the time of year. If you move those lightbulbs while they're hot, just turn them off. , the thread inside breaks. This is the case with most headlights…
