Works better than I thought. I bought black heat bulbs to use with this one. The cable could be longer but I'm happy with the purchase. LOVE that I can regulate the heat. Currently using it to warm a baby finch incubator.

It's great that my son's turtle 🐢 finally has a great heat lamp. I like that you can control the heat/brightness. Imagine if he were in the wild and able to control him from dawn to dusk and everything in between! The best heat lamp! And it comes with two different power UV lamps. Worth every penny! Great light and price! From the day I bought it my tortoise loved sunning and sleeping under it. I bought it specifically because it donates UVB and heat. It's also great because you can tweak and dim it as needed. If I had one negative comment it would only be that it is small. So if you have a very large tank, you might want to consider more than one. Otherwise I can only recommend the purchase! My turtle is in love!

I use this heat lamp to warm up my chromatic harmonica so I can take it out and play it anytime I have a few minutes to practice. It saves me time because I don't have to hold the instrument for 10 or 15 minutes before it's warm enough to play. Even 10 minutes of exercise 5 or 6 times a day adds up to an hour. Or almost. This is very handy as I can always check the warmth of the harmonica and make small adjustments if needed. Maybe one day I'll get a turtle.

We bought 3 of these for our frogs and turtles. In general very satisfied. As mentioned, they come with 2 bulbs - a 15w and a 30w. There is a noticeable difference between them. 30W will (obviously) be a lot hotter and brighter so you have to be careful with placement and the heat your pet needs. The light intensity control works as it should and offers a good warmth/brightness range. The clip works great, but of course you have to attach it somewhere - with our frog tanks we only had to attach

My butterflies get stronger faster after hatching with this light. Her wings dry faster and my monarch is drawn to warmth. I like that it's adjustable. It aims at the lattice cage and warms but doesn't burn. It is perfect and comes with 2 bulbs. The clamp is strong and the neck is strong and very flexible. Addendum: One evening the lamp went out. The rubber grips in the lamp came out no matter which glue held. I could only find 1 handle and the lamp is no longer durable/usable. It's a great…
