My butterflies get stronger faster after hatching with this light. Her wings dry faster and my monarch is drawn to warmth. I like that it's adjustable. It aims at the lattice cage and warms but doesn't burn. It is perfect and comes with 2 bulbs. The clamp is strong and the neck is strong and very flexible. Addendum: One evening the lamp went out. The rubber grips in the lamp came out no matter which glue held. I could only find 1 handle and the lamp is no longer durable/usable. It's a great lamp and the bulbs aren't a problem, but I really need to mount them vertically. I advise you to test these rubber grips for firmness before use. I would appreciate if the company would send me the necessary handles so I can repair my lamp and use it again as it has been helpful for my monarch butterflies. Monarchs are most at risk given their declining population. They are not protected because they are insects but they are beautiful creatures requiring care and I really like this lamp. I deduct 2 stars for the handle problem, because the lamp is no longer reliable and unusable for my application until it is fixed. I left 3 stars for the longevity of the light function, the quality of the lamps and the stability of the neck.
