Works well and looks good. I can even carry a small pen in a little loop on the side. The only problem is the velcro doesn't hold as tightly as it used to, but as long as it's not completely loose it still holds my phone. It has a clip so you can clip it to a belt or bag, but I use the wide opening under the clip to slip the belt through for a more secure fit. Works great with my BLU R2 plus (6.25 x 3.125 x 3/8 inch).

To be honest I work in a sawmill, there is a lot of space for clothes and accessories and I had to sew one side with extra strong threads. But these phone cases are durable except for harsh environments, and they don't cross paths with wallets, so you don't end up with a bunch of useless bags. I use it horizontally and it's very secure. I wouldn't trust a metal belt clip, but you can use it horizontally and vertically thanks to the built-in belt loop.
