God, that's a really good monitor! Before that I had lg 5k and Pro Display XDR. I can say that the colors are bright and accurate. The glare from the backlight is noticeable in a completely dark room, but when you turn on a dim lamp, they are completely invisible. You won't find anything better for this money. I've had this monitor for a while and mostly use it as a secondary monitor, but it also works great as a standalone monitor. The colors look fantastic. It has an HDR option that really makes my PS5 colors pop. The scoop neckline is great for routing your cables through your cord management so they don't get in the way. This monitor has built in speakers and they sound good. I also love how you can adjust this monitor to different angles and increase the height.

1080p scales perfectly to a 4k monitor. Each pixel turns into a square with a side of 4 pixels. For some games, I'd rather run them at 1080p for a big performance boost. This monitor doesn't have integer scaling, so it looks significantly blurrier at 1080p than a native 1080p monitor of the same size. It runs some sort of bilinear filter on the 1080p thumbnail, which looks like crap.

I got the monitor and setup was easy. Brightness is good, colors are good, resolution is excellent. Windows 10 doesn't recognize it as an HDR capable display. Windows does not allow HDR. Windows 10 recognizes my laptop's OLED 4K screen as HDR. I may have to see if there is a driver update. The viewing angle is not very good. My Iphone 13 Pro 1TB has better viewing angles. I was a bit skeptical as I didn't know the history of the brand but I did some research. I've always had iMacs, so an external monitor was new to me and I gave it a go. The colors are pretty good, but I love the fact that I can charge my MacBook Pro M1 and connect other accessories to it. No need for a hub.
