Bought it to decorate for a charity event. They are made from a lovely white silky fabric and are a good size. The included markers are barely sufficient - and the color may fade. So we used markers (tracing patterns) instead - you can see through the material - and they look great!

Fun Creative art project to kill time in summer. My sons spent half a day decorating and painting dragons. And we spend half a day playing outside. The kites are of excellent quality and very easy to install. My two sons are very excited to build their first kite. This kite kit comes highly recommended.

Was skeptical about these kites but wished the grandchildren could do something on the beach. They had fun coloring their own drawings and they really flew! We had one that twirled and nose dived, but I put the crosses on the wrong way round. After that it was great. Fun item for a beach trip.

I received kites for a project for kids I work with and it was a real disappointment. It's very thin and the sticks don't stay in place. I felt so sorry for these poor kids because they had never flown kites and were looking forward to this activity. The only reason I didn't return it was because the return period had expired.

I like that you can write any drawing on it. I wish it had drawings on it so little kids could just color it in. Took a little to assemble as the parts were numbered but it came with instructions and then I was able to put it together. The kite is very durable and has only been used a few times due to lack of wind. I would buy again.

I'm a grandma and I wanted a fun project for my 9 year old and 2 year old grandchildren. It was perfect! The boys had fun painting the dragons. My nine-year-old son spent two hours on the subject of his kite. Assembly was easy and I followed my dad's instructions in one of the other reviews on how to make a kite fly without nose diving! PERFECT!

My granddaughter loved the little markers that came with the set and enjoyed coloring it. And then she was so excited to fly it! She could run and drag it through the air (just above her head) and was utterly delighted. As the wind picked up, she was able to fly at an altitude of about 12 to 15 feet.
