JW Pet Insight ActiviToys Ring: Fun Interactive Toy in Assorted Colors! Review

I had to take another ring because they are arguing about who should sit on the first one. Both birds loved it. They are fussy boys and I never know what they will like or suspect. This one was a hit and now everyone has their own.

I took a plain white plastic swing and replaced it with this one. The canary ignored it completely. After almost 3 weeks I got him out, put the old plastic swing back in and in less than 10 minutes the canary was on the old swing. My canary does not like or want toys.

As you can see from my photo, Rocky likes it. It was durable, the bell is a nice touch and a bonus as my budgie loves to play with it. The only problem is that the cage bracket is very short. I added a piece of flexible thread to align it. Nothing bad, but something to think about.

I was missing a side post. It doesn't look like he ever was. It obviously doesn't change its function because I don't think the bird was playing with it anyway. I wish I could pick a color - they have a red one which they love and I haven't seen them sit on this one yet. I hope soon!

In general, my parrot likes to play with toys on the sides. She does it outside of the swing and not for very long. It seems that the plastic mount is not easy to hold or stay on. Perhaps a wooden support would serve better. From the picture on your website it looks like there is a tree at the base of the swing.

Four and a half stars. My lovebird loves this toy once she stopped being afraid of it because the color they sent me was red! The only problem was that I found the plastic connectors between the bell and the ring and the hanging part of the ring a bit cheap; They aren't very strong, so much so that I thought they were part of the packaging (fasteners to cardboard). It wasn't a difficult decision, just used a key ring to attach the bell and a regular toy hook to hang it on the cage.
