This book contains several good braids. This is definitely a book for intermediate to advanced knitters. There is no technique section, so knitters must already have cable knitting and Aran experience. I appreciate that directions are written and also pictured. I agree with the criticism of the instructions of other reviewers, so I will not repeat myself. not as good as some of their designs published in magazines. They are definitely intermediate and not advanced as none of them are particularly difficult. I don't like the cable combinations she uses and I don't think they reflect a particularly good sense of balance and symmetry.
