Emits an unpleasant chemical odor

When we turned it on, it gave off a strong, unpleasant chemical smell. We decided to return. No one wants to eat food prepared with an appliance that emits such an odor; it just can't be healthy.

Should have! Suitable for fryers

Great product! Easy to clean and works very quickly. Makes cooking easy! Two things to watch out for: 1. The rubber tabs on the pot liner come off easily in the wash, so keep an eye on them.2. This AF cooks hot and I often shorten recommended cooking times in recipes and guides.

Toxic plastic chemical smell

Just received and smelled straight away. I cleaned it up and did the first fried air, and it carried that awful smell through my whole house. I try to air everything, but the smell is unbearable. Attached is a photo of my Dyson air filter showing how bad the air is when you first turn it on. Immediate return and money back. Don't buy any.

Food tastes like chemistry

. We've used it a few times and it still smells like chemicals and the food tastes like chemicals/plastic. We had to take it to the terrace to use it because the house smelled so bad. The house didn't smell, but the food still tasted terrible. I'm not sure if that applies to all deep fryers or just this one. It was a waste of money and we will probably return it.

Good results but not the best air fryer

I had a smaller Cosori fryer and wanted to upgrade to a 5.8 qt size. I got this instead. Both are rated at 1700W, but this one has a removable grill on the bottom. Unfortunately, this makes cleaning considerably more difficult. The grid also has 4 silicone pads that can fall out and get lost. For example, if I want to drain excess water from cooking frozen wings, there's no easy way to do that without wanting the wings and bottom shell to fall into the sink.
