Description of ๐Ÿ”Š Yamaha A-S201 Integrated Stereo Amplifier in Black: Powerful Sound in a Sleek Design

This entry-level model reproduces rich, high-quality sound based on the "Natural Sound" concept. Placing a power transformer near the power amplifier circuit reduces power loss while increasing the peak power of the power supply in order to maintain a high volume level. The Pure Direct switch conducts the audio signal bypassing the control circuits for bass, treble and balance. This improves sound quality while maintaining full output power. Shortening the signal path improves sound clarity, helping to reproduce even the most delicate musical nuances. High sound quality and exquisite design based on Yamaha''s rich experience in high-end models. Hi-Fi amplifier with excellent sound. Yamaha''s high sound quality is backed by years of experience, tradition and high technology Pure Direct mode for pure sound Sophisticated sleek design Turntable input with MM and phono cartridges Screw-in speaker terminals Speaker options: A, B, A+B Simple remote control (RC) jack for HeadphonesHigh-quality sound Yamaha, backed by rich experience, tradition and high technology With its 125-year history as a manufacturer of musical instruments, Yamaha also enjoys a well-deserved reputation as a manufacturer of hi-fi components. This wealth of experience, combined with the latest technology, led to the creation of the A-S201 receiver. Based on the "Natural Sound" concept, which implies the most natural sound and careful study of everything from electronic circuits to sound reproduction, this model provides a very musical, rich sound, although it belongs to the entry-level category. The A-S201, with 100W (8 ohms, 40Hz - 20kHz, 0.2% THD) ร— 2 high drive power that''s above its class , has a high sound quality design that minimizes the length of signal routes and optimizes the circuit layout. Positioning the power transformer near the power amp circuit reduces power loss while improving peak power supply capacity to enable high volume output. The signal ground and power supply ground are connected at one point, eliminating mutual interference to achieve a higher S/N ratio. The result is sound filled with clarity and a feeling of openness. Pure Direct mode for pure sound With the Pure Direct mode turned on, the sound signal bypasses the tone control circuits (bass and treble), balance and buffer amplifier. This improves sound quality while maintaining output power. When the sound becomes clearer, the finest musical nuances become clearer.

A nice option for the money, one of the best deals.

my firstborn, he did his job perfectly during use, no cataclysms were detected first played with ns-333 (through subwoofer) then changed to 555 - fire Different pros: not much to complain about is not expensive looks good and plays well Its cons: perhaps the lack of options for connecting via optics and an output for a subwoofer

I expected mediocre quality, but it was a pleasant surprise.

I'd give it a 4.5. It was a major decision for me to settle on an amplifier. My original intention was to use it with a PC and S-90F. The amplifier is nearly too weak for these speakers, I must say. The review is based on a comparison to the Radio Engineering U-7111, to which they had been linked previously. I should mention that before to that, I hooked up the speakers to a number of various movie theaters, but the sound quality was never as good as it is now with the Yamaha and the same radio

Pros
  • - High-Quality Audio - a slick appearance All-inclusive Cost
Cons
  • An off timer ensures that the amplifier is not left on after the power has been cut.

Nice price, good quality.

The sound is the most crucial component. I was concerned that background noise and pauses might be audible (as some wrote in the reviews). There is no background or noise in my copy. The audio is transparent and crystal clear. Treble and bass timbres can be adjusted by up to 10 dB. I'm not sure whether anyone else has a bass problem, but I do. Although there are few basses, I intend to attach a subwoofer merely because there are two subwoofers that are not in use. I intend to attach theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • packing that is good in a cardboard box (although I think all well-known brands have such packaging). Superb soldering and factory build quality. I believe that the Malaysian assembly is superior to the Chinese one (but I could be mistaken). The case doesn't heat up at all at medium levels (I haven't tried it at high levels).
Cons
  • The model has the least expensive equipment overall. There were no batteries installed for the cords or remote control. The network cable is firmly fastened to the container (could have been made detachable).
