Initially, I did not plan to overclock, but msi mother herself raised the multiplier by +1, auto-overclocking is built-in. I use jonsbo d40 with 5 BQ turntables in the case. I undervolted to 120220v, the temperatures in the stress test dropped to 85c (from 100), I replaced the native mount with a frame, the temperatures dropped by another ~ 10 degrees to 78 in peaks (stable 71-72c), while eating 170-180w. As for dropsy - people calm down, some kind of madness, put dropsy on everything, every…

Pros
  • Everything works very quickly, high frequency per 1 core bears fruit, all short tasks are executed instantly. It gets even better when tuned up.
Cons
  • In stress tests, it was hot, without overclocking and undervolting, I ate 230w, the temperatures at the peak were under 100c.

The perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

There is a rig with 64 GB memory, Noctua NH D15, RTX 3070 Zotac, ASUS TUF GAMING Z690-PLUS WIFI D4, old Hyper 700 watt power supply. Ideal for rendering tasks, compiling shaders. Screenshot with load results. A solid processor in terms of price / performance ratio, you can work and play, air cooling does a good job.

Pros
  • 12 cores, 20 threads. Very efficient power consumption under Windows 11 In a simple minimum consumption.
Cons
  • Once it went into a reboot, when, in parallel with rendering, I decided to play a little and launched fortnite. I didn’t understand the reason, probably, the 700-watt power supply for this mode is no longer enough, although there may have been overheating.

Best thing for the money, glad I did it.

I set 5Hz for large, 3.9Hz for small cores. In AIDA CPU + FPU, the consumption is 170-180W. In games funny 55-95W Got pros: Very cold in the browser and office (consumption 15-30W, temperatures below 30C) Its cons: Basically its form. Without a steel backplate, the socket can bend, hence the crooked pressure and deformation of the cover, heating. Wild zhor without optimizations.

Valuable purchase, nothing but pluses!

From the nix came an oem with a sticker on the back and if you remove it, the guarantee will fly away. I had to put with a sticker. Delivered with Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro 4 with mx4, with temperatures everything is ok, when using a browser or just ordinary programs 29-30 degrees. In games, about 60 and no more than 70 degrees.

Pros
  • Powerful processor, in games will not be inferior to I9 12900K
Cons
  • There is not

I did not regret the purchase, everything is fine.

I don’t know who is to blame for this (Windows or CPU) (it seems like in the 13th generation of processors this got much better), but sometimes resource-intensive tasks (rendering, virtual machines) jump to E-cores. pressing Scroll Lock helps here (with the function of disabling E-cores on this button in the BIOS being previously enabled). sometimes this problem reaches the point of absurdity: for example, a virtual machine is running, it is minimized to tray, some resource-intensive task is…

Pros
  • speed of work, temperature within reasonable limits
Cons
  • sometimes unreasonable behavior of E-nuclei

The best thing I've ever used, a great item for everyone!

However, the processor is good, I'm happy with the purchase. I took it for ML development. I haven’t done overclocking yet, but I heard that it doesn’t make much sense to drive, it’s better to undervolt For cooling, I took a maintenance-free szho to try, it works fine, I didn’t see the temperature above 72 under full load. If the price tag fits the conditions described in the shortcomings, it can be considered for purchase.

Pros
  • Good performance figures. 20 threads. (8p+4e) Working temperature.
Cons
  • Price. It makes sense to take only if it will cost about 13600k or a little less. Now it is not relevant: i5-13600k with a configuration (6 + 8) has the same 20 threads, while it is a little colder, a little less voracious, and in benchmarks it is not inferior to i7 12700k. And somewhere even slightly ahead. At the same time, the i5-13600k is cheaper.
