I'm very happy with the product, it's very satisfying.

I decided to buy for the first time, until the 11th generation appeared, from the old computer there was memory and FB (RTX 3070), compared to 8700k, it lost about 30% in games, it used to be 140 fps, it became 80 - 90, quite a decent result for the processor for 4.900, the Internet and YouTube by itself just fly, with a fast m.2 the system loads in 10 seconds. Of the interesting things on the z490, the memory wound up at 4000 mhz.

Pros
  • A sufficiently productive processor, together with a powerful video card (RTX 3070) you can play almost any modern game, but for games it is better to pay a little more to i3 - 10100F
Cons
  • I would like a real 4-core processor, albeit without multithreading.

Insane value for money

I wanted to make this review to directly address those who are thinking about buying for games as I haven't seen too many reviews about it. This processor is insanely good, but you need to know what games you want to play before you pull the trigger. This is a 2-core 4-thread processor and is equivalent to the previous generation i3 processors. It's very fast for browsing and basic needs, but how does it work in-game? Here is my experience. I paired this with an R9 380 4GB GPU and 8GB DDR4…

Good choice for budget workstations and home media servers

Has been running on my server for a few months now, no problems. A great choice for a home media server, fast sync transcodes multiple 1080p streams, even 4k gets the job done with ease while still hitting it with almost no issues. However, if you're planning on buying it for gaming or really demanding tasks like rendering, consider something higher in the 100-200 range. Perhaps it's better to spend a little more as this will definitely become your bottleneck quickly when you combine it even…

CPU fan not good

If you are thinking of buying this CPU for surfing the web or something simple, that's fine. However, the included CPU fan isn't that great. I would recommend buying a better fan for CPU cooling. This base did not sit well on the motherboard. It kept giving me a fan error even though it was installed correctly. It was also difficult to remove because of the cheap material.

  • made weak

Understand what you are buying and you will not be disappointed.

There is not much to say about this processor. It's a 2-core/4-thread processor at the low end of Intel's 10th Gen product stack. I'm not saying this to be critical, but to make sure I set the right expectations for anyone reading a 5-star review of the latest generation's cheapest processor. As long as that processor is good for what you're buying it for. , it's a good choice and a pretty reasonable price. What is it good for? In my case I used it to create a pfSense router/firewall. With CPU…

Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

I'm not one to rush to write a CPU review. There is already a lot of information, benchmarks, etc. on the web detailing the performance of this chip and/or similar chips. Ultimately, I hope to provide some clarity on what to expect when purchasing this product. So if the title of this review caught your attention, it might be because you noticed that the product description says it "doesn't" come with a thermal solution (AKA: heatsink/fan). However, as some other reviewers/commenters have…
