A great choice for a home media server, fast sync transcodes multiple 1080p streams, even 4k gets the job done with ease while still hitting it with almost no issues. If you are thinking of buying this CPU for surfing the web or something simple, that's fine. However, the included CPU fan isn't that great. I would recommend buying a better fan for CPU cooling. This base did not sit well on the motherboard. It kept giving me a fan error even though it was installed correctly. It was also difficult to remove because of the cheap material.
