Good product, moderately difficult installation.

Easy to install. At first I had a weird squeaky noise like a turbo. I repositioned the boots for a better fit so they are now quiet. On the dyno they say I have some improvement in performance and there seems to be a slight increase in fuel economy as well. Oh, a little catch; The IAT sensor did not initially engage. There is a tab on the tube that engages a latch on the sensor to lock it in place. The ramp was too long so I carefully used a file to set it in place. Great after.

  • Easy to use

Fits and works as it should

I ordered this kit because my 2011 F250 had a cold side intercooler pipe that broke and the original Ford part was not ordered everywhere. Before I started, I watched a few videos about installing similar products. The original part was easy to remove. This sentence was difficult at times. There isn't much room to work. The final part, reseating the clutch shoe (it's stepped) was a real pain. I had to use some kind of lube. Lesson learned. Use some kind of lubricant on your rubber boots. It…

Great replacement - turbo and supercharger parts

Overall great value. The packaging didn't convince me from the start, the parts were just in the box. I didn't break the deal so I moved on. There are no instructions. There is no picture. Nothing. I'm mechanical by nature so it's not a problem for me, but it might be for someone else. Installation was easy enough, but I was concerned about the intercooler hose rubbing against the power steering hose clamp. The photos show that they are in contact and over time I think a hole can be rubbed by…

Great product, difficult to install

Great product. This is probably the hardest thing I've ever installed and I've done hangers and goosenecks before. I had to call tech support for no instructions. They recommended I pull out the throttle body to nail in a new clamp. Well once you do that the throttle body bolts will not tighten due to the gap at the new hose clamp. So I had to knock it off, screw in the bolts and then nail the collar back on. I used a 4x4 pry bar and a hammer. All in all this fixed the poor quality Ford turbo…

Worst Connections .EVER! STAY AWAY!

Got this cool side pipe for my 2016 Diesel F350. Installation was pretty easy. Only 45 minutes. Immediately I was very concerned about how short the alum was. There was a piece of tubing attached to each rubber joint. The overlap is only about 1/2 inch, even less than a 3/4 inch wide clamp. I'm towing a 42 foot trailer and the first time one of the connections came loose it shut my engine down in safe mode and wouldn't get to 35 mph on the interstate. It also put a strain on my exhaust filter…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Great price and easy installation. Fits easily on my 2011 F250!

The kit fitted my 2011 F250 6.7 perfectly as other reviews said the clamps could be a bit larger but you can also remove the spring on the clamp screw if You're having too much trouble or Do like me and reuse the factory T-clamps, which are slightly larger. I used the factory clamps on the intercooler connection and bottom pipe connection and I used the supplied clamps on the top connections and everything came together great. The converter doesn't snap in securely enough for me, so I wrapped…

Pros
  • Consistent results when tested
Cons
  • Could have gone with a newer model
