"I bought this extension cord to use with my Prius Prime Level 1 charging cord because my outside outlet in my house is too far for me to reach the stock charger. I was tired of using an ordinary extension cord to go the distance. This cable is very well made and has worked well for the past two months. I had no heating problems or connection problems. The waterproof connection between the charger and this extension cord is great and gives me confidence.

I specifically ordered this power strip because it was advertised as 'Made in USA' and had great reviews. I bought and received a block complete from Chinese DUOSIDE spare parts. This is far from a "Made in the USA" product. Normally I wouldn't care if it wasn't for the fact that the first DUASIDA product I bought lasted about 4 months and ran out right after the return period closed. Due to the recall of Chevy Bolt batteries we are unable to charge them in our garage until GM replaces the battery and the wall charge cable is too short. We bought this extension because it is made in the USA and fits the code. This is important because while the connectors are essentially the same across brands, the cable and how the connectors connect differs. The cable never gets hot and charging times are normal. This is a well made product with quality plugs and cords. I also like the fact that it's made in America. The storage pouch is also a nice bonus.
