Good quality for a low price

Good quality and very good grip when I put them on horses. Soft, it didn't bother the horses at all, and the chain I can count on is strong enough to avoid accidents.

Pros
  • Fits me great
Cons
  • Hard to say

Great bridle for the price but not on an untrained horse!

Very happy with these limpers so far. I travel a lot in packs and let my mare graze whenever possible. She feels very comfortable and comfortable in it. Let's see how they age in Yellowstone next month. It's important to note that you must train horses to lead or withstand pressure before wading.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • So far so good

Chain too long: circumference

The chain in between is too long for my horse. He hobbled around in leather for years, but I figured fleece would be more comfortable. He was able to figure out how to do short canters on these cleats. Soooo, they didn't work very well. Luckily he's not the kind of horse that will go far. I don't think I will use them again. They are already soiled so I cannot return them.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Minor flaws

Good quality, as in the photo.

Good strong skewers, just like the photo. My horse had a lot of paws and I got these lamenesses hoping they would stop it. She was still trying to paw and tugged at the shackles a bit but they held up pretty well although there is some wear around the buckle hole I used. The fleece lining is very nice, the insoles are soft enough not to hurt my horse's hooves even when he tries to paw. (I think they helped kick the habit)

Pros
  • handy thing
Cons
  • negative impression
