so far so good on spare parts

were done within a month. while it worked. I hope it stays that way, because the parts that are sent in are usually defective and that's not Bueno! but so far so good.

Works great on my Prius 06 and 08

Comes indeed with a metal base which probably won't need to be modified. Just unscrew it and install the black part. Worked well on both my Priuses 06 and 08. (pri)

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons

Good part for the price.

So far so good, it's been in the car for a few weeks and I've had no problems; very easy to replace and then bleed the system. Can't argue with $40, auto parts stores want $200 and it's special order, Revane got it the next day.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • So-so

DO NOT BUY! on water pumps

I would give zero stars if I could. My Prius worked before it was installed, but the fuse on this pump blew and now the car won't start at all. Trying it out and installing it is tedious, now I have to put the old one back in, I hope it works, and order the part from a more reputable dealer.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • No

Pump failed after 3 months

I installed it on my 2008 Prius and it worked great until it stalled. It dripped through the side as you can see in the picture. Not sure if mine is bad, but this one failed. I am trying to contact support to see if they will replace it as it is within the warranty period. added on july 21: got a reply from the company and they said they would refund the money. I'm waiting for a refund.

  • GOLS certified

Inverter Coolant Pump Fixed Problem

After watching a few YouTube videos I confirmed that this Inverter Coolant Pump for my 2007 Toyota Prius with 195,500 miles was the culprit and placed an order. The product was at a great price, arrived quickly and was easy to install. Flow restored to inverter, transmission and product solved! By the way, this is a good opportunity to replace your coolant with fresh new coolant and mine definitely needs it.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Problem

Buy from water pump dealer

I installed this part on my Prius. A week after I found out the part was faulty/defective. I have learned that on a 114 degree heat day a part failed and if that part fails a fuse blows which shuts down the entire machine. The bad side of the Prius is that it drives into the park and only a tow truck can move it. So I stayed on the side of the road with two small children in the great heat. I called the dealer and ordered the part, replaced it and the fuse and no more problems.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging

Still a little skeptical, but it works for now.

It will be almost 2 months since I installed this thing. I previously installed a pump I bought from Autozone that cost me about $200, but it failed after about a year and 10,000 miles. I'll update the review if anything changes, but it works. I'm hoping to get at least a year off this part considering it's so cheap compared to OEM or Autozone. I installed it myself, it wasn't too difficult after watching a few youtube videos. Just don't forget to bleed the system. My only complaint is that…

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • old

Warning! the best in engine cooling and air conditioning

Don't buy this. After 3 months and at a great time when I was 500 miles from home he stopped me - I'm in Georgia now waiting for a genuine part from a local dealer. I wish I had spent the extra $150 back then so I didn't have to cancel part of my vacation as I was now more than 3 times as absent and also wasted time and was completely disappointed. Symptoms: Fortunately, the car stopped by itself. I parked and didn't drive because this WILL HAPPEN. The alarm, courtesy light, key fob, electric…
