Description of Inverter for plasma cutting Aurora AIRHOLD 45

AIRHOLD 45 is designed for plasma cutting of any conductive materials: mild steels, stainless steels, galvanized steels, aluminium, copper and various alloys. The work of this machine is of high quality and high cutting speed. With a source weight of only 9 kg, the maximum thickness of a separating cut of sheet structural steel is 12 mm, and the maximum thickness of a cut of small structures and fittings reaches 16 mm! AIRHOLD 45 is powered by a conventional 220V network, which makes it possible to work with this device almost anywhere. A compressor must also be connected to the inverter to suppl...

Nothing special, there are positive and negative sides.

We use semi-automatic welding and electric arc from Aurora, I hoped that the plasma would be just as reliable. Now I am choosing a new plasma substitution, but from a different manufacturer Has pros: It performs its functions, it is a very convenient thing for dismantling, cutting by hand is not particularly successful, cutting 6-8 mm is the very thing! Different cons: Broke after several times of use, the repair took several weeks, not all service centers take repairs

A practical product, nothing to complain about.

Checked in the work, it is very difficult to cut! On the YouTube video, everything seemed simple. You need to drive the cutter at a certain speed. Slowly, there will be a wide cut. If it doesn’t burn quickly, the arc goes to the side! In this case, there should be a good voltage in the garage! After five minutes of continuous arc, my machine cuts out. The conclusion is that what for he is needed! Bulgarian in the hands and went! Plasma cutting requires experience, which requires a lot of time!

Pros
  • Works well, no complaints!
Cons
  • No pre-ignition

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

Metal cuts great. For someone who has never done this before, it is enough to burn a couple of electrodes and an understanding comes of what and how to do. Where to play with air, where with power, the main problem is the ignition of the arc, after the second burnt electrode, I came to understand how to do the ignition correctly and achieve a vertical, even and beautiful cut of the seam at different metal thicknesses. Thin metal cuts like butter, but you have to tinker with thick metal . When…

Pros
  • Great device. Autonomous. Turned on and work. Only an additional compressor is needed, as well as a quick-detachable connector for air supply. It makes no sense to buy an expensive "cool" similar device, this kid will do everything just as well and efficiently if the metal thickness does not exceed 10 mm.
Cons
  • No quick release air kit. You can do without it . but it is necessary that everything be technologically beautiful!
