GARBAGE. AVOID or be prepared to waste your time and money.

Nonsense. Absolute rubbish. Broke after ten hours of use. The buttons stuck and didn't work. The most disappointing experience I have ever had with an electronic device. AVOID THIS AT ALL COSTS! Get a Sabrent USB 2.0 Sharing Switcher instead. It worked, still works and way better than this piece of IOGEAR junk.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • For a long time

DoA cables included (and a useful shorting method)

The switch itself seems fine in the first limited tests of switching the scanner between two computers. However, I screwed up that the supplied cables are too short. They just couldn't make the necessary electrical USB connections. The good thing - at least for now - is that the much longer and more convenient USB AB cables I have work just fine.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Reliability

Works perfectly. Like, like, something like.

Works well but loses connection when hit. I've tried different cables and even disassembled them to find loose connections. nope It just has a crappy switching mechanism. So I used double sided tape to stick it to the table. since then everything is fine. but every once in a while I'll bang on the table and my mouse/keyboard will disappear for a brief second and come back again. Very disappointing.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Weak dialing

Simple no frills switch

I bought this to share a wireless keyboard and mouse between my laptop and desktop. The simple design is great, the buttons are easy to use, and the wireless keyboard and mouse switch seamlessly from one computer to another with the touch of a button. After 2 weeks of use there were no problems.

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons
  • Good but not great
