Only 1 out of 3 lightbulbs on my kitchen ceiling fan worked. I could tell the sockets were rusted - difficult to screw in the bulbs. I used a copper brush and then some DeoxIT on a cotton swab. Voila! All three lights are on! Great kit!

I got these from Revain and noticed a lightbulb on my trailer didn't work the following weekend. After removing the diffuser and bulb, I found that the socket was rusted so the 'bottom' of the bulb wasn't making good contact. Pulled the right brush out of the box and in less than a minute the inside of the socket was very clean. I also took another minute to clean the contacts in the socket and at the end of the bulb.
