Maybe it's not the manufacturer's fault, but my tank doesn't heat up more than a couple of degrees. I still kept it in my tank but I had to add a ceramic heat transfer. Not warm enough as the only heat source. Otherwise everything is fine, only the tank does not heat well.

I use this mat to heat a glass terrarium for desert beetles. You're in an unusually large geometric terrarium, but this pillow easily fits under most of it. Heats up fairly quickly and the thermometer makes it easy to check my bugs aren't too cold in their house.

So far it works exactly as advertised. The heating pad heats perfectly, however the temperature control is not very accurate as it is just a dial with no digits showing the temperature. I can't tell how accurate the hygrometer/thermometer works, but it seems accurate lol. The price is also great for what you get.

Does not appear to be ready to use out of the box. I installed it on the side of a 10 gallon snake tank and after 6 hours on the highest setting the temp on that side of the tank had only risen 2 degrees. I've checked it with a thermal camera and can see that it's on, but it doesn't seem to be generating enough heat to do its job.
