I rarely leave reviews and I thought I did my research in choosing this thermometer. However, what they do not tell you is that the "10 second" response time is only established once the thermometer climbs upto your constant temp. So it could that 25 to 40 seconds. Other brands, know that any human body temp will, at the very least, be above 95° or you have hypothermia. Small oral or rectal thermometer for more accurate temperature, it comes with a nice protective case. The button is very small and hard to depress , when using it orally like all the others it does take awhile to read your temperature 🤒 but its what I grew up using so I like it and feel more confident of the reading.
