IRIScan Portable Wireless Color Scanner Review

The software required so many steps that filling out the form manually was faster than scanning it. So my goal was missed.

Scanner works as advertised except for wireless and software is no better. If I didn't need it for work immediately I would return it. I could get one that wasn't wireless and cheaper.

Compact, handy and practical device for those who always have their office with them. You can process your expense report receipts faster when you have this on hand! Definitely a sensible and productive use of your time management!

Not sure if this is the best option. Mine has a lot of noise and some lines because some dust got in. I've seen another brand that's quieter at the local pharmacy, but I don't know if the scan result is better or worse.

Really hard to believe in this scanner. Connected to the computer and it will charge. Insert the CD and press OK and DONE several times. Read a simple PDF manual on my computer and that's it. Once the scanner was loaded, I scanned all the names of my cars, pulled out the memory card that almost everyone has and looked at it on my computer. I love this scanner and use it daily to copy receipts, bills and anything that comes in the mail. Very easy to use and the included software complements it perfectly. but the moveable right guide does not move far enough to the left for the receipts to go straight. I only use my finger as my right hand guide so it's not a big deal. The main disadvantage is that the scanner can cut off the edges of the material to be scanned. I bought it over a month ago and I still can't use it. I have a 2011 MacBook Pro and when I received it the instructions seemed very limited in detail but I managed to get to the setup.
