Love the fact that it's better than the starter I got out of the car and that it's built entirely to factory specs. I would highly recommend this company, I am very pleased with their attention to detail, fit and finish.

Looks good value for money. About 2 months without problems. Replaced in CR-V launched. The starter did not work well, started slowly and then tried to start the engine many times. It wasn't an immediate cancellation. This starter works great. I won't comment on durability but I have no reason to believe it won't last long.

Purchased 09/2020 and replacing a dying starter. Now exactly a year later I thought I had a different problem, since the starter had been replaced I brought the mechanic in to find out it was dead again. Everything else checked fine. Yes, don't do that, pay full price for reliable stuff at the auto parts store instead.

While the starter itself is just as easy to install and adjust, it only lasted a few months. I racked my brains trying to figure out why the car was having so many starting problems (again) and replaced a few other things, finally I decided to replace the starter with one from Autozone which has a lifetime warranty and now I didn't ask any questions. So in the end it was easy to install and relatively inexpensive, which ended up giving me more of a headache.

Starter motor is weak, not enough RPM to crank engine normally. Issued a slow startup code twice in the first few days. Longer start cycle than OEM starters. Fits fairly well but the belt clip on the back is too short to hold the belt clip properly. Getting to the starter on the 07 CRV was a challenge. Overall fit and function was great and easy to install. The only thing I doubted was the nut it came with when connected to a power source. Just a regular hex nut. I would feel better if it was a hex nut or a nut and lock washer combo. I added some locktight just in case. The price was efficient and easy delivery.
