Works worse than Honeywell filters. Two identical humidifiers set to maximum in the same room. The tank photo on the left is a Revain product. The tank on the left is a Honeywell filter. This is after 14.5 hours from full tanks. Honeywell absorbs most of the filter, less than half. Both were new at the same time.

Does not work as well as the original filter. The water appears to be absorbed by about half of the filter while the top half of the filter remains dry. They are a little longer than the frame as other reviewers have mentioned but can be easily squeezed to fit. I have found that twisting and turning the filters allows them to last a little longer and get the most out of the filter. Turning the filter over every few days gives me a slightly higher indoor humidity level for a longer period of time. These are great filters at an even better price.

The filter seems to absorb well. Not as good as the original filter and can last 3-4 weeks before calcification covers more than 1/4 of it. 4 for $8 ($2 each) at the time is a great deal. Now the price is 4 14 dollars (3.5 dollars each). Still a good deal but nowhere near the original filter which is $8-10 each but lasts longer and is better quality. Update: The filter worked for 3 1/2 weeks which I think is pretty decent. Performance seems reduced.
