really worthy filter

It went like this for about a month. It does a good job of removing the chlorine that we have to use in our household cleaning system. The water is AA quality pure seawater, but it needs to be chlorinated to get rid of uncomfortable levels of bacteria and algae. I would have wished for a little longer, but the water tastes good and provides enough pressure for over a month.

Great Taste - Kitchen & Bathroom Essentials

Since one of the big questions was taste, I decided to cut a piece and toast it with a lime and citrus marinade. I've got this good charcoal and it's served on a bed of spring greens. As a filter it gets 5 stars. We use it on our camping fifth wheel and it does a great job of clearing out camping water. If you are looking for a meat alternative I would look elsewhere.

An excellent filter for the ISpring filtration system

I love the ISpring water filtration system. I installed this system in my house about 1.5 years ago and just changed the main filter. It is designed for 36,000 liters of water. Our filter looked orange since we have nothing but red clay here in Atlanta! This filter works great with the pre-filter and they filter out pretty much everything that's bad for you! I will continue to buy these filters as needed.

Excellent customer service and great product.

The Big Blue system works MUCH better than it used to. The whole system is well constructed and easy to install. Most importantly, the filters are great. One of the system kits was missing a gasket. Just needed a gasket. I contacted customer service and they IMMEDIATELY sent me a new CTO carbon block filter with both gaskets. Now I'm going to use the one that didn't have a pad and just reuse one of the pads when I use the other. That's what I call service with a smile!

The chlorine smell was removed first but the water always had a different smell

I recently replaced my 3M quick change whole house filter with a large blue one due to the cost of the 3M filters (they are proprietary). I am trying out different large blue filter cartridges to see which ones I will use regularly in the future. I have city water and all I have to do first is remove the chlorine smell and light taste from the water. I installed a filter and flushed the system with sinks and tubs for about 15 minutes, so there was a lot of water flowing through this filterโ€ฆ
