💧 iSpring WDS150K Whole House Water Filter Review

After several trips to Home Depot for the right tools it was installed in half a day along with a whole house filter. I'm enjoying it so far, my skin doesn't feel that dry.

I also bought a 50 micron iSpring centrifugal filter. Both are easy to install with a 20 micron carbon filter in between. Overall water flow and pressure are good. The water seems softer than before but still has a very faint metallic taste. I attribute this to the charcoal filter, not the two iSpring products. I'll probably need to upgrade to a larger activated carbon filter (iSpring WGB12B). The scale seems to be less, but I didn't pay much attention to it.

iSpring not only makes great products, they also provide excellent customer service. Be sure to call them before you order to make sure you get exactly what you need. I have iSpring filters installed in 2 houses and am in the process of installing them in the third. I have consistently received excellent technical support and customer service, most recently from Don. Also, their filters are great! We saw an immediate and noticeable improvement in our water quality.

I received this filter and it's leaking. There are two holes on the learning side of this filter from which water flows (pictures attached). I acknowledge that this is happening on both sides of this filter. So it drips from all four holes. Slowly but steadily dripping. Let me know what's up with him. I have added this single iSpring Anti-Calc filter in addition to the previously installed iSpring triple filtration system. The previous purchase was a triple filtration system for sediment, carbon and iron/manganese. This one now adds a polyphosphate liner that really removes scale and makes the water a lot softer. Living in Indiana with ultra-hard well water helps slow limescale build-up. We installed an iron filter as well as sediment and carbon filters about 5 months ago, there was still limescale in the kettle, so we retrofitted this descaling filter 2 weeks ago.
