The strap looks good at first glance and easily got me past a metal detector at work. I bought it in November 2020 and have been wearing it almost every day since. Judging by the photo, the belt is not of very good quality. He is only 3 months old and the skin is tearing and holes are stretched where the buckle goes through the belt. I'm a little guy, 5ft 7in and 140lbs. The belt fits perfectly. I got it because of a bad rash from wearing zinc buckle belts. I've used them about 5 times. Yesterday I felt a pop and my pants started to slide down. The tip of the latch broke off about 1/2 inch. Now useless garbage. I had to use the bungee for the rest of the day. For the price they should use better plastic or similar. Garbage. Oh, and my rash was completely gone in about 3 days.

I've used it on a couple of flights. I advise you to wear a loose shirt when going through security. When the security guards saw it, everyone gave orders to take it down and some didn't care that I said it was plastic. I left it defiant and it only made them more aggressive (although they let me through without incident). It's better not to see him. I passed the detectors and body scan with flying colours!

While I like that there are no metal parts in this belt, the materials used are of very poor quality. I've had this belt for less than a month and it's already broken. The part right next to the buckle just came loose as you can see in the photo. The material I examined is some kind of foam and other particles, super thin. The description of "robust" is wrong. This belt is strong under no tension. Don't buy it. This is not a quality belt, you will end up losing your money.

I had to go to court several times to testify to the prosecutor. The lawyers were all strapped in through security while I tried to put my belt back on. Now I can walk through metal detectors without taking off my belt! I'm guessing it's not actually leather as it looks and feels like plastic, but who cares! Nice enough to shop for clothes. I too will wear this belt on every flight. I will also buy my wife and father-in-law.

At work I have to go through several security checks every day. I bought this so I don't have to take the belt off EVERY TIME! It's been great and is holding up well so far.
