This is a terrible trash can. Yes. We've had a touchless trash can for years and it suddenly stopped working, so I bought this iTouchless trash can. The first thing I noticed was that it doesn't lay flat on the floor. I definitely don't want a rickety trash can. The second thing I noticed is that every time it is opened there is a loud BONG noise from the jiggling of the lid on the top of the can. The battery indicator always starts flashing after a few weeks. but it works great for months so we just ignore the lights and only replace the batteries when they really don't work anymore. The height is perfect, the sensor is great, the black assistant is really nice and clean. High enough to store a roll of bin liners underneath the bin liner currently in use. Connection. The packaging was great! So I was optimistic. I was thrilled to have this shiny new trash can as part of my home. Heck I paid over $65 I expected what I paid for.
