🎄 Vintage Christmas Quilt Book by Lori Holt of Bee in My Bonnet at It's Sew Emma Review

This is a complete book of vintage Christmas quilt block patterns and projects using those blocks. Although the book is clearly Christmas, you can make "non-Christmas" quilts with some of these blocks. I made a blue and white quilt out of some blocks from the book. I wouldn't recommend this for absolute beginners, but confident and intermediate beginners can handle it.

Quilting is new to me; I found the instructions clear and easy to understand, any errors were due to not reading or measuring clearly and then being too lazy to go back and fix them. The book arrived clean and undamaged, it is sturdy and will last a long time if cared for properly. Blocks are fun and offer so much variety. It's also easy to use the cache with these blocks. Fur. There are certainly some great and versatile blocks in the book, as well as other templates that use the same blocks. The templates aren't the best writing I've seen, and not the worst. If you are an experienced quilter you should be fine. However. The book I received is wire bound on thin glossy paper. The binding is so close to the edge that even turning the page will damage the pages. Also, the book came in a box, unpacked, unpadded, with wired pages coming out from under the cardboard…
