The product says that it is universal and suitable for any car. That's not true, I didn't even get close to a 2006 Acura RSX. was in the trash.

This is not exactly a generic product. Will not fit my 2012 VW GTI. Looks very similar but had to trim a lot to make it fit. The threads on the edges came undone and I had to super tape them to keep them closed. The leather is fairly cheap and is showing signs of premature tearing/tearing after 3 months. Would not recommend this product

Cheap boot but what's the difference when it works. I used it on an odd shaped switch and it worked great. It feels cheap, but who cares when it does its job so well. My only complaint and the reason it only gets 4 stars is that it doesn't have black stitching or green stitching if you want color. My car is green and I wanted black, but the trunk function is actually great.

I had this installed for aesthetic reasons, I have a 2018 Nissan Versa with 5MT and the installation took just over an hour. Only thing to note is that if you plan on installing this on the same model as mine you will need to trim the cover to fit the factory mounting system. I will not downgrade the product, just wanted to let other buyers know in advance.

This boot is sewn very poorly. There are gaps between the panels and the seams don't go all the way to the top. The paint of the lock has been chipped and glued in the middle. I don't know if I received a boot that someone else returned or if the quality control department is facing budget cuts. Anyway, I've decided not to use it and instead make my own. I rarely give such bad reviews, but this product deserves it.

Overall I gave it one star given its value. I think you can say it's worth the money because it's cheap. However, I had to cut it to fit, and when it was then installed in my car, the fabric was so stiff that every time I hit a bump or downshifted (2nd, 4th, rear), the panel popped out. This was not the case with the old "leather" replacement boot. I couldn't return it because I had to trim it to fit, but I don't recommend it if you're looking for something loose or giving it as a gift

This product is advertised as an all rounder which is probably true but installing it on my 2002 Jetta GLI caused some problems due to my stock shift knob gear not going through the top of the trunk. I had to cut off the top of the boot to allow my grip to go through. The boot was too long so I cut off about 30% of the bottom of the boot. If you order all you get is a case, you don't get the hose clamp that many shifters have, so you have to buy one because to remove most of the shifter knobs…
