More than expected, fabric is good

Larger than expected (waist and length). Bought a 6/7 for a 6 year old who has outgrown 4t (short) and normally wears 5t. I was afraid 4/5 would be too small but 6/7 turned out to be too big. Although he likes the stuff!

Pros
  • Absolutely the most comfortable pants for my sons. Private school, love, love, love.
Cons
  • The sensor-friendly IZOD Boys' Knitted School Uniform Pants are only available in one color, khaki, and in a limited range of sizes, which can make it difficult for parents to find the right fit for their child.

Great for a child with sensory processing disorder!

My son LOVES these pants! He finds wearing spiked clothing with tags difficult, "uncomfortable" due to his ADHD. But he says it's very convenient! I also like that they look a little better than the regular sweatpants you wear to school.

Pros
  • DURABLE AND STYLISH: Made with high quality materials, these pants are made to last. They stand up to the rigors of everyday activities, making them ideal for school and other occasions. They also come in a trendy and versatile khaki color so they can be worn with a variety of outfits.
Cons
  • While the sensor-friendly design of these pants may benefit some children, it is not guaranteed to fit every child with sensory sensitivities, and parents may need to try different designs to find what works best for their child.

We need something between 4/5 and 6/7.

In the photo 6/7 under a pair of 4/5, and by the will of fate my son is right between them. My son is on the autism spectrum and his school allowed him to wear them due to his sensory defences. They are excellent if your child is struggling with them. But unfortunately I have to wait another year until it's 6/7 and no in-between sizes are offered.

Pros
  • Touch-friendly design
Cons
  • Compared to other school uniform pants on the market, IZOD's sensory-friendly knitted school uniform pants for boys can be expensive, which can turn families on a budget off.
