We bought these to use on a handmade wooden framed canvas and they worked great. They were very easy to install (this is our first time working with canvas) and worked great. Highly recommended.

Great product but list price is too high for its value (especially when you need two packs for a double stretcher frame). My local art store (Blick) practically gave them away - they sold for a penny (no kidding). You could buy a metal T-bar from HomeDepot for a fifth of the price. The seller should seriously consider lowering the price.
