Janine walking foot doesn't fit

I have a Janine S3 and have tried both low and high walking feet but neither fit my machine? Ashamed!

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • High price

Janome forever: sewing

I love my powerful sewing machine and this walking foot works really well. I had trouble installing it - it doesn't work like any other brand with similar use. But once I understood that part, everything went smoothly.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • threadbare

Easily sews knitwear. It's a bit tricky to attach and no instructions are given (hence the 4 stars) but once I figured it out it was to die for. The knitting was even and smooth even when the skirt was hemmed. We recommend.

Pros
  • Excellent workmanship
Cons
  • Fits

Great little foot for walking

It has served me well for a few months now. It was easy to install. He sewed everything from silk and high quality linen to multiple layers of fleece. It was even and consistent in everything I sewed. I recommend using 3-5 for the tension settings, but it's good if I push those limits as well. It was extremely durable and versatile. I am happy with this purchase!

Pros
  • Sewing
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

I mainly use the smooth motion foot for knitwear.

I mainly use the smooth-feed foot for knitwear, recently also for sewing large curtains. It was very useful for curtains made of smooth fabric about 2.5 meters long. Yesterday I had trouble sewing fine knits (skip stitches) but when I remembered I had this straight feeding foot and put it on I had no trouble. I do not regret buying this leg.

Pros
  • Handicrafts and Sewing
Cons
  • Expensive

Beautiful Sewing Kit

My wife made beautiful blankets for our two grandchildren. She had never sewn a quilt before, learning from books and going so far as to drop testing due to disappointment. The problem was wrinkling of the sawn materials. We learned that to overcome wrinkling, we need to buy a walking leg. She has a Janome sawmill and we got so many different walking foot part numbers from different suppliers that it was a bit confusing. Janome customer service came to the rescue by giving us a different part…

Pros
  • Sewing Machine Parts and Supplies
Cons
  • Price
