This is a functional wax pot in the sense that it melts the wax fairly quickly. However, the build quality is pretty bad. The wax bath is made of thin aluminum which is not too durable. Got this kit as a gift for my daughter who asked for it. I felt like he had most of the extra bags of wax and everything she needed to get started. It wasn't that expensive, what if she ended up not wanting to do it. It's not a big loss. It is all the warmer in Nice. It heats up quickly and the kit works as it should. This kit is absolutely amazing, super easy and will save you loads of money in the long run! Foot wax at a salon near me is $25 + tip, that's at least 30-35 after it's done and done so even using it once pays for itself.
