Superior Ethernet Adapter for High-Performance Computers

This adapter was a game-changer for my computer's internet speed. It was easy to install, and the connection is stable and fast. The build quality is impressive and feels durable. The only downside is that it is a bit expensive compared to other adapters on the market. However, the performance is worth it.

Pros
  • High-speed data transfer rates of up to 10Gbps
Cons
  • Requires a PCIe x8 or higher slot, limiting compatibility with some systems

Jeirdus 10G NIC – chipset Intel 82599 X520-DA2 type

This is a clone of Intel X520-DA2 10G network adapter with dual SFP+ ports. It appears in the hardware as an Intel 82599 chipset and worked on my computer and NAS without any additional drivers. Physically, the board looks almost identical to the original X520-DA2, which I also have. The original X520-DA2 cards are becoming increasingly difficult to find or are used by pull. This Jeirdus card is brand new and well packaged with both full and low profile brackets and a driver CD (which I didn't…

Hit-or-miss computer components

Some cards come with original unflashed ROM, so sfp with unsupported devices, etc. P. risk the flash as the parity bit of some cards on the X520 may not be the same. If you are a Windows operating system user, you are a goldman. Linux - you can see the rmmodprob device adds the required options and modprob igxbe to no avail. of course with the usual ifup and the option to raise the device. Simply put, it doesn't automatically negotiate or announce what it wants. I NOW have a couple of OLD x520s

Pros
  • Interfaces/ports: 2x SFP+ 10Gb/s slots, apply to SFP+SR and SFP+LR module
Cons
