This scale is AWAY from heavy use. After being in possession for about 30 days, the control panel fell from a height of 1 to 2 feet onto a wooden floor and shattered into pieces on impact. Both plastic sides popped out along with the screws and the two internal switches controlling the mode/tare functions broke. For comparison, we had a lightweight Pelouze scale that lasted about 15 years. We emailed the manufacturer last week but haven't received a response yet.

Recently purchased to use at my work. This has been a much needed update for a long time. So far it has proven to be an excellent transport weight. It seems very sensitive and more than accurate enough for a transport scale. The platform is large and seems very solid. A wired remote control is a great idea, it makes things a lot easier. We've been using a battery powered scale and it seems to have held up on them for quite a while so far. The remote control comes with a safety strap that can be
