2 story house, 150 years old. Bought 2 15 ton jacks to prop up some old window sills that were a bit fishy. bad concrete footer. very difficult. left as a permanent fixture. You'll probably outlive the house. uses an old mount for the distribution. was all I could do on my own. very satisfied. peace of mind. would recommend.

The thing is a little workhorse. I like holding a load for a long time more than bottle jacks. Seems like whoever does the bottle jack always leaks overnight and your load is on the floor. But not with these, set 'em and forget 'em, they stay where they are! and you can use them to move objects sideways.

I'm using them right now. Raised half of the 10 x 26 superstructure to align the posts and add beams. They stood still for three days, waiting for the concrete to dry. I'll remove them tomorrow and the building won't move an iota. Quality and trust - that's what I have to say about them. If you want to lift and hold something; this is a product.

This jack raised my two story house enough to repair a foundation that was damaged by a 7.1 magnitude earthquake here at AK in 2018. This is a serious, high-performance tool at an amazing price. I would definitely recommend these jacks to anyone who needs to get serious about lifting. I will likely buy some of their smaller denominations in the future as their quality far outweighs their price. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a mechanical jack.

The jack makes a solid and functional impression. It is a cast iron body with a square machine thread and a rotating spigot at the top. Seems to be a quality tool when it comes to imports. I didn't expect it to stand up to abuse. There is a hole on the bottom so you can see the screw turning in the base. The only problem is that I didn't buy it earlier. It's a superb design and when combined with a 6x6 timber beam and some thick steel plates it inspires confidence and provides impressive buoyancy, unlike overhead jacks which inspire fear and regret about lost money due to less strength and stability. I recommend buying this without the pole and then buying the lengths of pole you need from a steel shop, bearing in mind that 3ft is the maximum length they designed with the jack.

I've had several of these but this one is a little different. Everything I've had before allows you to use a piece of 1/2" water pipe to twist it up and down. In this case the holes are too small and I have to use a pry bar from my pickup truck. . Works good but not as comfortable as the old ones.The top part (the part that comes in contact with the load) also wobbles.I think it needs to adjust to the conditions.Never had that but it's ok, just different.

Just received. Looks sturdy but the description says it comes with a swivel bar. The swivel rod was not included. I'm sure I can get it locally, but the fact that it comes with a swivel bar was a big selling point for me. Updated: 08/23/18. I found that I already have something that works for the pivot bar. The jack did a great job raising the floating deck just enough to replace and level the cement block support. Still not happy that the swivel bar was not included as described by the seller…
