They last about 10 times longer than any other kitchen sponge we've used. One side is a smooth sponge and the other is a slightly aggressive cleaning surface. They clean almost everything perfectly and simply wash away any dirt that gets on them or in the abrasive. We always keep two. We throw one in the dishwasher and another to use and run through every time the washing machine loads. They stay nice, fresh and clean and dishwasher safe.

I'm tired of buying sponges all the time. I was skeptical about paying that much for one, especially since I only partially believed it would last. But it happened! Doesn't smell at all, still rubs. So after reading a number of reviews on this product I bought a rectangular sponge and thought it would be as durable as the top reviews say. Unfortunately, this sponge didn't work for me. Love this sponge - this is the ultimate solution after trying cheap sponges, dishcloths, brushes (with and without handles - I have an OXO sponge for glasses and the like).
