The color is bright, the thread is silky and beautiful. However, you should know that this is not real silk. This is called "artificial silk" or "viscose silk", i.e. artificial silk. The description actually says "viscose" but some people might miss that in the description. For my purposes it doesn't matter if it's real silk or not and I knew what I was using so I'm fine with that.

This is thread, nice thread but still thin thread. Don't buy with the intention of making tassels, it's just regular sewing thread and it takes a lot of thread to get what you want. But this is a really high quality thread for sewing or embroidery. I was only disappointed because it wasn't suitable for making brushes, especially in the size and quantity I wanted to make. I had to make one more purchase. BUT as a simple thread it's nice.
