🚗 No Drill Tow Eye Front Bumper Tow Hook License Plate Mount Bracket Holder for Mini Cooper S Countryman Peaceman - Effortless Relocation Kit (2014-present) Review

So I really hoped I had found a solution to avoid drilling holes in the bumper for the license plate. Unfortunately, this bracket is not the right one. Not sure if it's due to missing parts or missing instructions (there were ZERO instructions in the kit, I mean I'd even like to take Ikea class instructions but nothing in the box or on it). This is a disappointment.

I received the product, it is strong, looks good and the material is excellent quality. BUT I gave 2 stars because it doesn't fit my R59 Mini (2014 Cabrio Roadster) as described. The screw is about 1 inch shorter and is not long enough to accommodate the panels. If I used it, it would scratch the paint on my bumper. DOUBLE CHECK your measurements!

So many product launches were made because it was meant for the Mini Cooper. For me it was just a waste of money. It was said to fit a Mini but when it arrived and I tried it I found the threaded bolt was too big for it. And with no direction, I couldn't verify that all the parts were there. In general, the purchase is not satisfied. I was going to get another one at this location but went to this one for the price. There was an error.

Suitable for some states but looks ugly. It fits snugly over the tow eye on my 2015 Mini Countryman (R60) but is very uncomfortable and I would be surprised if it doesn't slide down and need constant tightening. There are no actual instructions, so assembly is a bit of a guess. Also, the photos show all the parts in matte black, but mine came in the standard steel color.

Pretty easy to install on car and fits perfectly. However, I needed two more tools to make it more secure. A bolt that attaches directly to the front of the machine I had to use a torque wrench to tighten just enough to keep the platen from wobbling as much. Then I needed pliers for the screws that attach the license plate to the black plate because I couldn't get it that tight with my fingers. All in all a really easy and great purchase, just missing a few things to make it perfect.
