Small but good buy

I like these, just a size too small. I'm waiting for the XL to be back on sale. Raise by one. I can only wear them tight and a little uncomfortable in the waist because I need a larger size. I wear 12 in jeans and got a big one.

perfect for women! The best protective gear

Bought this for a trip west with my fiance last year. Rented a bike and rode over 1,000 miles in a week. Very hot weather in July 2009 but there are buttons and zips on the sides to facilitate quick airing when off the bike. Also great with a slight feminine highlight. Love her!

Excellent quality! fits safety trousers

As I said excellent quality, great fit. The liner is great for taking an unplanned trip in the rain. The lining also works great as a windbreaker for cold morning rides. It has great built-in armor in all the right places. Joe Rocket is my go-to of all my riding gear! Wouldn't trust any other brand, I wouldn't trust any other brand, I know from experience the material will stand up to extreme abuse.

I love these pants! - Protective gear

I absolutely LOVE these pants! I had a hard time finding breeches that fit the way women's breeches should fit, but they fit! Because of the length, I had to use men's trousers. I'm 5'10" and that's enough when you're on a bike to cover your shins and boots. The waist is adjustable to fine-tune according to the thickness of your pants. I like the detachable strip to keep the pants airy to hold up when the temperature rises. These pants also look great and are very flattering if you're just…

VERY bad fit. Although very satisfied with the seller.

I had high hopes for them too and was very disappointed with the fit. These pants appear to be very well made. However, they are heavy and bulky. My biggest issue with them (and reason for returning) was exactly as stated in the 1 star rating here. Your cut is terrible. The front goes well above the navel. When leaning or in a typical riding position, the front end cuts into your stomach, which is extremely uncomfortable. And her back is itching not to turn against you, eff. Although the seller

  • Hard to say

I give these pants five stars. They've taken me on two muddy adventure rides and have been amazing. I'm 5'8, 155lbs and ordered a large. The length is perfect (a rarity in womenswear for me) I would probably like a size up, a little tight around the butt/thighs but nothing uncomfortable All the pads were in the right places so I didn't have to adjust anything Worn on the trip down a few times and the pass made it. Pants didn't rip either! The zipped airpanel felt a bit odd at first but lets a…

Perfect for tall women

I love the many adjustment options on these pants! I have long legs and a long waist and these pants fit well, the best I've found after months of shopping for different brands. You can adjust the inseam to 31", 33" or 35". You can also adjust the knee pads to two different pant heights. When I ride my bike in most women's pants, the knee pads go over the knees. With these pants, the knee pads cover Actually protects my knees once I move them to the bottom compartment. It took a few tries to…

Great performance and fit! Ideal for 3 season rides!

I have been looking for a 3 season pant for a long time and after a long search I have decided on these JR Alter Ego pants because of the features and the recyclability (because they are short it makes ordering clothes online difficult). I ordered medium instead of small as other reviews suggested going up a size. You can "hem" the legs with the included fasteners, perfect for my short 5ft 2in! The long outer thigh zippers are great when I'm wearing work pants underneath; I can pull them down…
