My 5 year old son likes long hair so tangles are par for the course. I remember when I was young so I ordered a few. The smell has changed and it's not good at all but we can get over it as it works. I omit the stars because we ordered twice and both times they came in envelopes and the bottles broke and made a huge mess. I had to fill the rest into our own syringes. Do yourself a favor and just buy them from the store to get a full bottle of the product.

The plastic seal was missing but the caps were closed but there was a small leak when the package was delivered. I had to use more than I expected to untangle the tangles. Seems a little watery compared to a more expensive brand. But it will do.

This is the best detangler for my daughter's thick and curly hair. We've tried everything in the world and this one beats them all. I end up spraying it on her hair, but she has a lot of hair too. Doesn't have a strong smell and doesn't leave hair greasy. You still have to be careful when brushing your hair, but without this detangler it's not a Herculean task. Although this is not my first time using this product I love it and it works great. Leaves hair clean, soft and smelling fresh. However, due to the way they were packaged, they leaked a bit and crawled out of the plastic bag they were wrapped in. As a result, the envelope was slightly oily/wet when opened. So be a little careful when opening.
