    Rust spotted

    I have already bought this knife along with several other Mora knives. There aren't many things that really annoy me when I'm buying a new knife, but delivery of a rust-stained blade is definitely 1 star for me.

    Great knife.: Camping & Hiking

    Like most carvers/planers I know I have a few knives, chisels etc. I saw a recommendation for this knife and decided to give it a try. When I first used it I found it bulky and the blade was heavier than all my other knives so figured I wouldn't use it very often. After several projects, it has become one of the most used. Sharp, good sharpening, comfortable. Ideal for anything but small projects that require a thinner, more flexible knife.

    Either poor quality control or returning the item received

    The knife came with a slightly curved point, frayed and with nicks on the edge of the blade itself. I expected such poor quality control from a cheap knife from a cheap Chinese manufacturer and would have can handle it, but Morakniv is considered one of the best in the business. A $25 knife really shouldn't have these problems. What if you don't send me a used/returned knife? Although the original packaging looked intact.

    good knife But also buy a sling.

    I carve a lot of wood and horn. The shape of this knife is ideal for roughing and fine work. However, the top of the blade will dull faster than the rest, possibly due to the factory/hardening method. A simple alignment will negate this negative experience; There isn't a carving knife that doesn't need periodic touch-up (or improvement) on projects. I recommend this knife to carvers of all skill levels. I recommend buying Morakniv 122.

    Sharp, balanced, easy to maintain and repair when a clumsy carver drops the little one onto the concrete with a fresh edge. happens, don't judge me. It has become my go-to finishing knife and I use it for etching with ease. I like Mora's crafting line. I will never say anything bad about them as long as they live like they used to. Now if they would throw their hats in the ring to the axes of the Sloyd. The heavens will open, good honey will fall from the sky, velvet cords will unravel. AMAZING

    I'm trying to get into wood carving and I bought this knife as my main tool. The knife was sharp when I opened the box, but after a few smacks with fine sandpaper and a leather belt, this knife became very sharp. The large facet grind makes it easier to sharpen and holds the cutting edge well. I am very happy that I got this knife. The handle fits comfortably in the hand, the knife lies securely in the sheath. I'll look for another shorter-bladed mora. I found a few situations where I wished…

    Good carving knife for camping & hiking

    I'm a size 120 and wanted a slightly different blade shape that was a bit shorter, so I chose a size 122. I was happy with the sharpness although there were a few spots of rust which surprised me as the blade was actually oiled. I have to sand and oil the grip for comfort. Was a bit disappointed that it didn't have the 'Made in Sweden' stamp like my friend did because the quality of my 120 is excellent. I hope it's done the same way. I don't think it matters much that the case is plastic as…

    Update. The new knife squeaked sharply. I just got a crack and started using it and it cut through lime and pine like a champ. And that's great. Most people who buy carving knives go no further. My problem arose when I wanted to carve the azure tree. It is not that hard. But the edge has just started to chip. To the point where I would have to re-profile the Scandinavian edge with an extra bevel. The inner core steel is too hard. And that's fine if you're just carving basswood or other soft…
