Great texture and smell! We use it for both training and climbing and it's the best brand we've found. I will definitely use this brand in the future.

The smell is pleasant, the texture is good. However, it dries my skin out and my skin cracks in weird places after using it for a day or two. Maybe it's my skin type but I would take that into account.

High quality chalk for indoor and outdoor use. The scent is surprisingly strong and calming. Even after washing my hands several times, I still walked around smelling my hands because of the substance's scent. In terms of functionality, I think it is comparable to the standards of well-known brands.

Be careful, the lavender smell of this chalk is very strong! I usually take this flavored chalk and mix it with my chalk (3 parts loose, 1 part flavored). The fragrance does an excellent job of dealing with foot odors that can be detected while climbing. The chalk texture is smoother and turns into powder very easily.

I like the texture and quality of this chalk but the smell is too strong. Other climbers joked about my spa chalk haha. I like the scent, but for climbing I resort to an unscented scent. It feels comfortable, is smooth but offers traction. I have noticed my hands are less dry after using this chalk. I also noticed that I didn't repaint that often.

It smells amazing. I wouldn't call it soapy. Smells of light lavender oil. It's nice to be on a multi-day climbing trip and have something that smells nice. haha Everyone, men and women, comment on how delicious my chalk smells. It's also nice to be in the stinky environment of a climbing gym. I have tried all the herbal pens and they are all amazing. I can't stop buying.

I love this chalk, I've tried several and this is my pick, I obviously sweat a TON compared to others I climb with. So don't worry about how well it dries your hands, but use the best amount of chalk in this regard. The scent is the real reason I like it so much.
