Good reusable play dough

My son loves this play dough. The colors are pleasant. The price is reasonable. He wanted clay that he could use over and over again. It is flexible and does not dry out. I know because it's lying around and when I find it, it's still bendable!

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Little things

NOT 5 ounce buns! for plasticine

These are NOT 5 ounce rolls! They are around 0.5-0.75 oz. Complete robbery for money. Pros: - Jovi - great clay - soft and easy to work with - easy to mix colors - never dries out - no weird smells - non-toxic Cons: - very small clay pack - wrong description of 5 ounces - expensive for a small lot

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Colorful, flexible, non-toxic - that's it.

I love all the colors and the fact that they are non-toxic and don't dry out. I will buy it again if my toddler doesn't mix all the colors and make it a blob of black. The purist in me can't handle it. It smells a bit bad, enough for my daughter to keep it out of her mouth but not enough for my chihuahua to not chew and swallow. :-P

Pros
  • Finally got it
Cons
  • A few little things

THIS MATERIAL WILL NOT DRY!?

I love that each color is individually wrapped, non-toxic and gluten free! I already mentioned that it DOES NOT DRY! I just got mine so will test it but so far I LOVE it! I bought it for me and my kids to play with. I have to admit I was a bit disappointed with the amount they give you but still enough to create cool stuff. Overall happy with my purchase!

Great for my daughter with autism

My 5 year old daughter has autism and this stuff is amazing for her! I buy it all the time (it doesn't dry out but after a while it mixes the colors together). She's a very sloppy kid, but luckily she's easy to clean. We have hardwood floors, no carpets. Not sure if it's important? She got all the blankets and stuff dirty and never had a problem cleaning them. Much better than clearing slime or orbiz! These are the number pad icons she made!

Pros
  • weight
Cons
  • unreliable

Great for art therapy!

I use it for art therapy and am very happy with it. Love the color choices but there is very little of each color in this particular product. I ordered it to try first before buying large quantities. As advertised, it doesn't dry out and you don't need to bake it. This makes this product ideal for therapy or use in the classroom where you may not have access to a heat source. He has a smell, it's not scary, but you need to know about it. Easy to clean and rinse off.

Pros
  • Clay
Cons
  • Discontinued model

Farewell, plasticine!

My kids didn't like it at first because it's not as soft as Play-Doh (when new). They wanted to use molds to make things, but I showed them that this type of clay is better for sculpting with tools and your hands. The fact that they could play with him and he did the same a few days later amazed them. It also helps my kids who have weak hands and I love that they have to use their strength a little more. It's similar to Play-Doh after it's been used and put away a few times, except it's notโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Kraft
Cons
  • Damaged

Good quality, but too small

The material itself is good. Unlike Play Doh, this stuff doesn't dry out, so you can easily reuse it the next day (yes, I understand you can add some water to a dry Play Doh, but let's face it, Play Doh just dries too quickly). . This material is also a bit harder and therefore more "stable" when building something with it. The stickiness is similar to Play Doh. My problem is value for money. These things are SMALL. One of these sticks isn't even as wide as a pack of chewing gum. So thereโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Clay and dough
Cons
  • Expensive
