Fits 1/4 NPT just great friends!

🤷🏻‍♂️ why others say it doesn't fit 1/4 NPT - fits very well as can be seen in the picture I uploaded. I needed a vacuum on the container - whether we keep the container or not is another story. A part I did with the 1/4 Sae used on r410a systems - it will hold up great. This article is freaking cool! 🙏

Pros
  • Brass for corrosion resistance, high temperature ductility and low magnetic permeability.
Cons
  • Was damaged

Half of the topics are wrong. The rest is excellent.

There is only a 50% chance that the product will work for you. The 1/4" female thread doesn't work on one end but is completely useless on the other. I don't know what the problem is but I can't thread the thread like it's too small. So if you're on If you have to use a 1/4" no-joint on both sides of the bulkhead, this probably won't work for you.

Pros
  • This bulkhead fitting is suitable for connecting brass, bronze or iron hydraulic lines through a bulkhead.
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Bad thread makes a bad part

On both the originals and the two replacements the internal threads were so bad that I couldn't easily fit a 1/4" NPT threaded cone nipple. One didn't even start and the rest did barely got it. Tried 3 different known quality 1/4" fittings to make sure it was the problem and not the fittings. Otherwise it's a solid and functional unit. Shame more attention isn't paid to the to keep the beginning of the stream clean.

Pros
  • Gasket and nut for airtight seal through baffle.
Cons
  • small things
