The mounting holes are EXACTLY 37 1/8". Mark the top hole of the mounting plate and then use a spirit level and tape measure, to mark the other top mounting hole. Keep the mounting plate flush with the top hole and mark the bottom holes of the mounting plate. Then attach both mounting plates with whatever wall screws you need. The included drywall anchors will never hold. .CONGRATULATIONS! TOGGLE 1/8" x 2" screws are THE BEST for drywall. (not included)

I bought 2 of these heated towel rails. One of the bars (where the brackets are) was the correct length, 31 inches. The other bar was made at 30.75 inches. I set the first bar - no problem. I assume the 2nd bar would be 31 inches. NO. I drilled 31" holes, put in the anchors and brackets and tried to hang the bar. no-go! The brackets were 1/4 inch narrower to each other. ! You cannot attempt to drill new holes that are only 1/4 inch from existing holes in the plasterboard. You will have 1 huge…

This towel rail is great. I make my dressing room in matte gold. The same company also makes the napkin holder. Both have clean lines and finish. They seem more expensive than they are. Problem? Excellent! Just perfect! It's the right size and butter bronze finish! The electricians who remodeled an old house of jacks and pipes... let's just say redecorating the walls wasn't their forte. Well I'm writing a real review about this heated towel rail. Made from high quality not cheap casting. Continuous. Well done. Includes all hardware needed for drywall installation. Two types of drywall anchors (screw type I recommend and expandable plastic I wouldn't use), screws and an Allen wrench for the backplate. The only thing that would make installation easier would be a template and if they give you measurements for spacing. I assume they use the same guide for all lengths…
