The price is high because the product is from Japan where JUKI is made. I wanted to get exactly the oil my car needs so I spent the money. I love JUKI. It's good that the bottle is big, for this money it will last for many years.

I'm guessing it's either better or made specifically for Juki machines. I've also compared prices and gram for gram, it's actually cheaper than some other high quality oils.
