📿 Sterling Silver Jump Rings for Jewelry Making and Beading Review

While most rings were nice, a small percentage were damaged with cut marks that ruined the otherwise nice spring ring. I had to throw away quite a few rings between the few bags I bought. They were so expensive it was a hassle to throw them away and there were no extras in each pack to cover up the obviously damaged ones.

The description and title of the item states that it is sterling silver. I warn buyers that this is not the case. They are made of silver plated brass. I bought them for a project and they work fine but not what I ordered. The silver finish started to wear off within a week of completing the project I bought them for. So if you are looking for them for a project or renovation just be aware that they are coated and not hard and the finish wears off quickly.

I'm picky about my jumps. I usually go to sources that sell sterling silver jewelry, but I only needed a small order and needed it fast. I'm glad I tried them. They are well made and just what I needed. Not thick (you need 1mm to fit the hole) but still tough and durable. Once fitted, they do not bend easily and remain secure.
